سجاد زنداں کے اندھیروں سے مجھ کو تو بچا لے
بھائ مجھے آغوشِ امامت میں چھُپا لے

دُکھتے ہیں میرے کان سُلا دو مجھے بھیا سُلا دو مجھے بھیا
تُم ماں کی طرح لوری سُنا دو مجھے بھیا
My ears ache, make me fall asleep O’ Brother
Just like mother, croon me a lullaby O’ Brother
لگتا ہے اندھیرے سے ڈر تیری سکینہ ع کو
تم سر میرے بابا کا دِلا دو مجھے بھیا
This darkness terrifies your Sakinaس
Could you get me my father’s head O’Brother
دیکھا ہے اِن آنکھوں نے بابا کا گلا کٹتے
بھولوں گی بھلا کیسے بتا دو مجھے بھیا
These eyes have witnessed father’s decapitation
How will I forget that, tell me O’ Brother
میں سات محرم سے پیاسی ہوں میرے بھیا
دو بوند ہو گر پانی پلا دو مجھے بھیا
My brother, I’m thirsty since the 7th Muharram
If there’s any, give me some water O’Brother
بھیا میرے کانوں سے اب تک ہے لہو جاری
تُم آکے ذرا مر ہم لگا دو مجھے بھیا
O’brother, My ears are still bleeding
Come and nurse these wounds O’Brother
کرتا ہے ستم ظالم سونے بھی نہیں دیتا
آغوشِ امامت میں چُھپا دو مجھے بھیا
The tyrant oppresses, they don’t even let me sleep
Hide me under the protection of your Imamat O’Brother
سجاد سے سکینہ ع روکے یہ فضل بولی
چہرہ میرے اَصغر ع کا دِکھا دو مجھے بھیا
Sakina swt said this to Imam e Sajjad as while crying
Please show me the face of My brother Asghar a.s
